As we started a new year I, like many others, took a little time to look back at the years past. Not just 2017, but further back. With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we can continue providing our full range of services, under certain restrictions. As our province enters the next phase of the reopening plan, we have some updates to share with you about our safety measures.

Our experienced and friendly equine team utilizes two mobile units to provide on-farm care when you need it.

Our cat Josephine Marie (Josie) woke up one morning and was definitely not herself. She progressively became worse as the day went on The team at Avon Animal Clinic took her right in the very next morning and kept her for the day to do tests and tried to figure out what was wrong. They are very thorough and professional and truly make you feel at ease in knowing your pet is in good hands. We are very appreciative for all your help and your kindness during this very scary time we are going through. Thank you all so much.

I had phoned first thing in the morning to see if they had any availability to see my dog for an eye infection. They were able to see him that morning and were amazing. His eye is healing up great. Do to your fast response he didn’t have to endure discomfort longer then he should. Thank you.

Can hardly express how disappointed we are with our past few trips here. We have been clients for a long long time. Things have changed here over that past year or so and not for the better. The recent care our animals have been getting has not been good. Visits have been rushed and not complete. We have had two recent mistakes with prescriptions that luckily we caught before they were administered. Then yesterday our Yorkie went in for a tooth extraction and they removed all his teeth without telling us. They have changed his life. It shows how little thought now goes into the animal care. The

Took in my cat Winston who can be nasty. They were so caring and kind and gave me great advice for his issues. He was nervous but Dr Walker was so great with him he behaved so well. Also. Had a dog Cassie who recently passed away but while she was dealing with her cancer all the staff was truly amazing... And after she passed, one of the gals made me a beautiful painting made with Cassie's paw prints. ❤️

We relied on this vet hospital many years ago and when we got this recent kitten we thought we would try Avon again. Our first visit went very well and the staff were very kind and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is for new pet owners it would be helpful to have information about possible side effects due to vaccine or flea worm treatment. My kitten had a mild reaction to hers which was a new experience for us. Otherwise the visit was as expected.
