Was there visiting a family member today and on our way outside I nearly slipped coming down the steps as the step were very slick.
Went inside to notify the front desk and she was very disinterested in what I had to say
I told her that the steps were becoming slippery and asked well.. is it snowing?
I said it doesn't matter your stairs are becoming dangerous. She just looked at me and said okay. And went back to her phone and computer ad if she had no interest in what I was telling her.
Went into my family members room and they don't even have a smoke detector
The wires and all that are there

Nice clean quiet place to stay when in Iqaluit, friendly staff close enough to all amenities and facilities in the area.

I like this hotel because you can have a suite with a kitchen in it if you have a baby or children where you can make your own food. The staff who are from foreign countries could be a little more courteous and atleast break a smile

Rooms are dated, hallway was in need of major repairs. Noise complaint was never dealt with. Bonus is that they offer a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room with full cutlery, bowls, plates and cups. Traveling with friends and their rooms has smells and stains.

Visit my sister when she was staying there and I bought some food for her and the little store they had was very convenient and cheap. Nice rooms too, they provide everything like cooking pots and pans just have to buy your own food, very convenient!

Conveniently located hotel in Iqaluit. Central to just about everything, meaning you can walk where-ever you need to go. Beds are comfortable, showers are great, rooms are nice a clean. Only problem is it can get quite warm in the rooms and you may need to crack a window, even in the dead of winter.

Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Beds are uncomfortable. One of the panes of the window was broken, which made the room cold. The bathroom light died during my stay. Vending machine has been broken for a long time.

It's a nice place. They claim to have a small store but it usually seems to be poorly stocked. Rooms have fridges and microwaves and cutlery and a keurig. Tap water tastes fine (that's a thing in iqaluit hotels) and the rooms are good. Good place to stay, just don't rely on them for food.
