We have mixed feelings about this place. Let me start with the bad parts first. Spa is just a big disappointment with this amount of money. Almost doesn't offer more than some other motels in Timmins where there are spa. On the other end there is a wilderness tour which is just amazing. Even if you don't stay in this hotel you must see it.

Went to the spa on a in between travels, staff was kind and welcoming. Mandy was absolutely wonderful, checking every now and again to see how things were going. Very relaxing atmosphere. Massage was exceptional and the food was very good. Very much enjoyed having lunch served in the lounge. Thank you!

Usually it’s amazing but my last visit I had Horrible service from a girl there who was rude and didn’t seem like she was very knowledgeable. (She might just be new but didn’t have to be rude to me) It seemed very disorganized this time as usually the staff is on top of it and so nice. Half the amenities I usually look forward to weren’t working. The food was cold which I’ve never had happen there before either so overall it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I won’t be returning.

We only attended the resort to go on the wilderness ride. The ride was fun, it was really cool to be able to feed all the big animals, unfortunately there were only Elk, Deer and Bison. Was a little disappointed in the lack of animals for the price. I think the rate should exclude kids 2 and under, my daughter is 2 and sat on my lap the whole time but we still had to pay full price for her. We went on a cold snowy day, the seats were all soaking wet, would have been nice to have something provided to wipe the seats down/from what I understand they only do the one ride for guests not attending the

Love going here year after year! Hoping some upgrades get done in the cabins with more comfortable pull out beds.
Spa services are so great. They are friendly and make you feel like top priority.
The restaurant is outstanding. The dishes are unique. If you want a weekend gettaway go there. If you plan to sleep in the cabins bring an air matress.

WOW! Richard the owner and his staff welcomed us with a warm smile. The Upper Canada Suite is Gorgeous! It felt like a little palace. The dining room food was incredible - I ordered more room service on two occasions! We did not want to leave our suite and enjoyed the hot tub that is big enough for two (and our little daughter). Thank you for a lovely stay!
