Services
Construction is well under way! We are currently preparing the subgrade of the new tennis courts. That area will be paved before the metal building is erected in late October. This will cause some disruption. The good news is that the timing is perfect as golf season will be ending and there will be less demand for parking.
When you first come to The Derrick Club, you'll see a beautiful championship 18-hole golf course, a brightly lit swimming pool, a variety of strength and fitness training rooms, curling ice, a world-class badminton facility, and an ambitious indoor tennis project that will transform the club and the community opening in 2021.

The Derrick Club's 18-hole championship golf course, redesigned by Jeff Mingay in 2015, has a distinct layout reminiscent of classic course architecture of the 1930s. The course is fun for recreational golfers and offers plenty of challenges for low-handicap players. Our Golf Professionals are always on hand to help you with any equipment and apparel needs.

Went to a birthday party at this place about 13 years ago. Water was dirty and the birthday boy was completely out of control. He kept on suplexing little kids into the water. Asked the lifeguard to step in, but he was more focused on watching the old people in the hot tub with that glazed look over his eyes like he just saw something he shouldn't have. Pizza was from pizza hut though, so that was the only good thing about the whole experience. Hope things have changed over the last decade.

The Staff at the Derrick are amazingly great, friendly and efficient. I'm prejudiced as I've been there a long time and enjoy going there to eat. The numbers of things you and your family to do at the Derrick is amazing. Check it out and consider joining. Winter coming up and there's lots to do for yourself and your children. They even have a nice outdoor skating rink. CHECK IT OUT FOR A FAMILY CHRISTMAS GIFT THAT WOULD BE A WONDERFUL GIFT.

Been here numerous times for dinner meetings and the staff has been excellent! Food is always good and lots of staff to make sure played food service moves quickly and efficiently. Ive had a few technical issues with a laptop or projector from time to time and the staff is so quick to help problem solve and get things up and running for me. Some of the better service I’ve had at venues like this. Thank you!

The Derrick was a fantastic wedding venue! We had our ceremony outside and our reception in the Banff and Jasper rooms. It was easy to meet with and email the catering manager whenever we had questions. I may be biased because it was my own wedding, but I think they served the best food I've ever had at a wedding! The appetizers were a hit (some of the servers barely made it out of the kitchen before their trays were empty) and the buffet was incredible! Service was wonderful, too!
