Brought in for brakes then inspection for 1...car didnt go in until 330 and didnt do brakes..only safety inspection...when i asked why he didnt do brakes seeing as i was from out of town he gave lame excuse as he forgot even tho i gave him the brakes to do he again had nothing to say but still charged full price for safety and told me to take vehicle elsewhere...very rude ignorant and not professional...will never go back ..willalso let everyone know how he treated me!!

Has been my mechanic since I moved here in 2005. Fast, honest and I can get my vehicle in fairly quickly. There was a time that it needed a minor part replacement. Any other shop would have charged minimum of 1/2 hr labor. He stated it took him "less that a minute" and he only charged for the part. The last time I was there for a trip pre-check we found the only thing needed was basic maintenance of a serpentine belt replacement.

We were in a real pickle driving across Canada and needed last minute service when our engine light went on. We ended up needing spark plugs and new coils. The guys at Lou’s were SO helpful and efficient and really helped us out so we could get on the road safely. Coming from Toronto it felt so nice to have such friendly service - we cannot recommend these guys enough for anything you need!

We took our vehicle to Lou's today for the first time based on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed! Everyone at the shop is extremely friendly and professional. They got our car fixed very quickly and for a great price! We always had trouble in the Soo finding a great shop but from now on we will go to Lou's Automotive!

My wife’s been going to Lou’s for years before we were married because he’s genuine and trustworthy. I’m fairly handy with cars but won’t do everything myself. After we got married and I met Lou, I can vouch he’s definitely solid. I’ll bring anything to him I can’t do myself and when I’m too busy he’s now my go-to guy (I used to go to bigger chains for various reasons). He’s personally involved with each case, and it’s great to see a real local business thrive. They’re involved with the community as well. He benefits from regulars and word of mouth because they are good
