Dr. Ballard was born in Ontario however, he was raised in Nova Scotia where he achieved his undergraduate in biology with first class honours in 2006 and his degree Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2010 at Dalhousie University.
Dr. Ballard has a keen interest in providing a full range of general dentistry to his patients including, but not limited to, implants (surgical placement and restoration), orthodontics and orthopaedics (traditional braces and Invisalign) and cosmetic procedures (veneers, crowns, bridges), wisdom teeth extractions and IV sedation.Dr. Ballard strives to provide the most advanced dental care while in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

We provide you with a broad range of services provided by our general dentists. On occasion some services are of an advanced difficulty and will be referred to a different dentist in our office or a certified specialists. We offer both white (resin) and silver (amalgam) fillings to fix teeth which may have decay or missing tooth structure.
Your first dental visit my take up to 45 minutes. It is advised to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out a patient chart and to orient yourself with the office. Feel free to print and bring along your complete patient chart found in the forms section. The Dentist will begin the appointment by completing a review of your dental and medical history.
For after hours emergencies we will try our best to be available for any dental emergencies which may arise. However it is not always possible to be available 24 hours per day every day of the week. In a dental emergency please call 433-3113 and Dr. Ballard will return your call as soon as possible.
