Me and my husband we were delighted with the service of the hotel, the decor, the amenities and how welcoming everyone was!
One thing I would like to mention for future improvement is their system regarding shoes/ sleepers at the entrance of their door. We followed protocol and we replaced our shoes with our personal sleepers but the next day on our way out when we let our sleepers at the reception and we wore our shoes to go out, when we returned another guest took accidentally my husband's sleepers.
This shoe system they have needs to be a bit more organized or they should provide cabinets

We had a great stay at Le Clos! The location was perfect and the rooms super cute and cozy. I appreciated the make up remover wipes which is not very common in hotels! The only thing that was slightly annoying was the very loud air conditioner that would go off in the middle of the night. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again!

We chose this hotel for our anniversary trip to Quebec City because the advertisement pictures showed a romantic, historic lodging in a location convenient to the Christmas markets and other famous sights in Old Quebec. It did NOT disappoint!! The picturesque reception room was beautifully decorated for Christmas, as was the outside of the building. Our room was lovely and contained every amenity imaginable. Stephanie, Coralie, and Moana were the perfect hostesses throughout our stay, providing advice on restaurants, activities, and answering all of our questions. This was particularly helpful

Really loved the charm of the building and excellent staff. I can see the staff care and try hard. We enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect, and onsite parking is very convenient. My only two suggestions for improvement: 1) the light fitting in the room hangs very low... i hit my head many times in 3 days (this would be an easy fix). 2) The pillows were very hard - i suggest the hotel needs to replace the pillows. Overall, I would not hesitate to return. Old Quebec City is a stunning place to visit!

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very charming and the location is excellent. There are a few things that would have increased the comfort of our stay. I would have appreciated two bottles of water placed in the room each morning. We had to purchase water at the local market. In addition, having the room cleaned each day of the stay would have been nice. If cleaning the room each day is not possible due to COVID protocols, at least new dishes and glasses could be placed in the room each day. Going down to the kitchen was not ideal to wash our tea cups and espresso cups. The room does get very

A really beautiful and quaint hotel with excellent service. The only thing I’d say is that it doesn’t have an elevator and the rooms are on the smaller side (to note, it is an older building and many hotels in the area are similar). The location is superb and allows you to walk everywhere. The staff at reception were amazing. You are able to communicate with them via texts and ask any questions you have. They were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was stunning! We have stayed in Quebec city numerous times and this hotel was beautiful and our favorite by far. The location is perfect, the staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The only negative, the restaurant "La Buche" which has breakfast vouchers included with our stay. I found them to be quite rude at this restaurant. We always felt as though we were bothering them with our hotel voucher for breakfast. The consistency of the breakfast was different everyday in how it was packed and what we would get, regardless that we ordered the exact same breakfast 3 mornings

We had a wonderful time during our stay. It was my husband and myself, we were there on a 3 day vacation. the location was excellent, just a short walk to the river and right near restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was terrific, the room was very comfortable and I absolutely loved that the bathroom had a bathtub. The hotel had great character and charm. We would absolutely stay here again!!

What a nice stay! Friendly and accommodating staff, and the check-in check-out process was very easy. Excellent location in old Quebec city, and it's on one of the major streets, but it's not noisy at night. Good restaurants nearby, and walking to and from places is very convenient. The rooms are clean and well kept, with a lot of cute ornate details. It's a very romantic hotel. Just be ready to climb stairs as this hotel has 4 floors, but no elevators. Fantastic experience, and I would stay here again.

The check in process was easy, the staff was friendly and the room was beautiful. The jetted tub didn’t work though. There was a leak in our bathroom fan so they had to put a cloth filled bucket in. They offered us two free breakfasts at a nearby restaurant for the inconvenience. We didn’t even notice the drip or the bucket.
Our only suggestions are:
Have a mini fridge in the room. With the ice machine in the basement, no elevator and being on the fourth floor, it was a bit inconvenient.
The bed was small and dipped in the middle. Time for new mattress?
We had no idea how to change the

My wife and I recently returned from our stay at Hotel Le Clos Saint-Louis in Old Quebec City, Canada. We are experienced travelers and always refer to YELP and Trip Advisor, among other travel sites prior to booking our place of lodging. Prior to reading the body of my review, note that there are several significant criteria which we value before committing ourselves to a hotel: Time, Money, Breakfast; the precious time we have for vacation, the funds we expend during that time frame and, the Breakfast "experience", which, for us, is as important as the quality and comfort of our accommodations

Lovely room #8 even with the long walk up beautiful spiral staircase. Dark wood, burgundy patterned drapes and bedspread. Nice down pillows, hard mattress (not my fav). Pretty exposed brick wall in bathroom.
TV, a/c, screened windows.

Nice desk clerks, easy check in, asked for and given 2 sets of keys. Towels changed, bed made daily. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Breakfast included can be skipped. Was yucky all around. Eggs mushy, croissant bready (really good ones all over Quebec so no reason for this), yogurt was more than plain with mushy granola, fruit tasteless. We had once and then

We loved this place. The location is top-notch. We got one of two rooms on the top floor. They are very spacious and have everything you need.

Breakfast is included. And the breakfast is AWESOME. It's cooked by the owner.

It's a very quiet place. You can't hear anything from the street in your room, unless you open a window of course.

Everyone working here is very nice and accommodating.

We would definiteyl stay here again.
