Believe it or not Northwood Funeral Home has been proudly serving the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas since 1989. I gotta be honest here, they did a whole lot of nothing for nearly 2000$ and when we called to ask them about "300$ documentation" and other fees that we had on our bill they wouldn't give us any clear answer, and told us "privacy issues". I see all of these other reviews out there, and to be honest I'm not impressed at all. All they did was sit us down, make us sign documents, and now we have a nice fat bill. Wasn't impressed with the answer received over the phone, just a nice little public relation speech. CHEERS!

My wife passed away resently and we had the wake and service at Northwoods. It was an extremly difficult and emotional time for me and my family. The staff was so helpful and understanding, so comming, that made us feel they were part of our family. Everything fell into place as they said it would. Thank you to the staff at Northwooods for your professonalism and making our difficult time such a peaceful and memorable.célébration.

My father recently passed away and our family secured the services of Northwood Funeral and Cremation Centre. It was a peaceful and positive experience. The attendants were very helpful and respectful. All courtesy was given to our guests and family. The visitation was well prepared. The service was heartfelt and sincere. The facility was perfect. I was there for my friends funeral Mr. Richichi the staff did a terrible job for viewing his hair was a mess and he did not look anything like himself with the amount of make up they put on him. The icing on the cake was when the staff started talking about how bad another locally owned funeral home is and that we should move our prepaid funeral over to them. Not very proffesional by any means. I think you should look to see what's going on in your back yard before you comment on what's going on in the other side of the fence.
