Node-1 Computers
Our history starts in 1989 when our local family began as a computer retailer then known as CCC Computer and operating from flea markets, mall kiosks and home. The company is still owned and operated by Ron and Richard now at 150 Simcoe St. S., Tom has since retired, we are brothers and still inhabitants of the local area. We have a vested stake in your satisfaction. We service the local community (Oshawa, Durham Region and surrounding areas) both the home user and the small and medium business.

We service a wide spectrum of customer types such as Lawyers, Dentists, Eye Doctors, Family Doctors, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Restaurants, Media Production, Architects, Manufacturers, Automotive, Investment Firms, Charitable Organizations of all types, even other computer service providers and many more. With excellent working knowledge of their common software and familiarity with their manufacturers.
Services
To do our part we offer free electronics recycling drop off as a community initiative service. We take any electronics, computers, laptops, tablets, cell phones, TVs, DVDs, Blue Rays and so on. Unfortunately we cannot take small or large appliances. If you drop off a computing device we will secure erase hard drives (make them unrecoverable) so that no one can get your data, nominal fees may apply.
At Node-1 Computers we see things a little differently. Every Node-1 Computers system is custom tailored and built to your specifications and needs. We take special care in assuring products work together and that your new computer will fulfill your specified needs. Building with only quality proven products and brands, we have nearly 20 years of history and experience.
We specialize in digital IP Surveillance systems. With digital IP surveillance systems you get high quality digital video, recording to PC, integration with your current network, low light solutions, options for sound, remote viewing. Using high quality IP Surveillance product from Axis Communications, QNap, Pelco, UTC and more we can either do a new installation or upgrade and expand your current installation to IP surveillance.
Have you considered the added value of offering a public access internet connection to your waiting area, or dining area or other public area. Are you concerned about cost, privacy, data security. Don't be mislead into opening access to both the internet and the data on your local computers. Don't be fooled into expensive additional internet access costs.

Amazing service. They worked on my computer for about 2 weeks, and I never once felt like I wasnt getting their full attention. They didn't do any guesswork, they consistently were trying new methods to figure out problems. The all around personality of the employees was top notch, they were all kind and passionate about their work. Fantastic experience, will go back for anything that involves computers !

Absolutely the dumbest pair of idiots I have ever met. Please for love of God don't use these two clowns. I heard horror stories but didn't believe them until now. I went to Best Buy and got fixed up properly. Thanks for taking my money and leaving me with even more problems then I went in with.

I took a chance, based on a few reviews I had read as I didn't feel like paying the prices places like B*st B*y want.
Very glad I did. This chap has a lot of integrity and it shows. Fixed issues with my computer without charging an arm and a leg. Could have made up some story and charged me twice as much- how would I really know? Changed a few things as well (all for the better) and gave me some insight into why he did them.
I'm going to be taking another machine in for service soon, and would recommend him to anyone.

If I could give this establishment 10 stars I truly would after my computer stopped working and making a few calls to Staples and future shop and finding out they charge a diagnostic fee and offered me two packages either- $190 or $250 to look and repair my computer without even looking at it.
One of my aunts coffee buddies referred us to Node-1 We called I explained my situation they do not charge a diagnostic fee they called several times to let me know what they were going to do and the cost-the customer service was amazing very impressed with this place and my total bill was $65. Got my computer

Always great service, fast and reliable. They are cheaper than the big box stores but offer better service for what I have seen. Also they offer a full selection of custom built computers that you can change up to suit your needs.

A great family run business that has been in business for over 20 years!
