We are located at 4818 42nd Ave in Mayerthorpe, behind the UFA card lock and next to the tire shop. When you arrive you'll be welcomed by our friendly receptionists and support staff, Bailey, Ashlene, and Andrea. Our clinic offers a spacious reception and waiting area as well as select retail products for large and small animals.
Dr. Claire Ainsworth grew up in Lamont, Alberta, a small town not unlike Mayerthorpe. Following in her dad's footsteps. Claire always knew she would grow up to be a Veterinarian, and that mixed animal practice would be her focus. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and came to practice in Mayerthorpe that year.
We offer comprehensive care for companion animals specifically dogs and cats. These services include wellness and vaccination visits, sick animal evaluation and treatment, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries ranging from routine spays and neuters to advanced procedures such as fracture repair and TPLOs.
