We are a local, New Brunswick-based insurance company, with our head office in the village of Stanley, NB. We are proud to be a member of the network of Canadian Mutuals. Together the companies form one of the largest insurers in Canada, and our unique way of risk sharing provides a cost-effective way of protecting you, our policyholder and member.
In the 1930's, property insurance was next to impossible to get in rural New Brunswick. In order to protect their farms, four farmers decided to pool their resources and form their own insurance company in 1937. This was the beginning of Stanley Mutual. At first we wrote only farm policies for fire coverage.
If you need to report a claim during our normal business hours (8:30am - 4:30pm), please contact your local Stanley Mutual Office directly or call our head office at 1-800-442-9714 and you'll be directed to your local office. If you have an emergency situation that cannot wait until business hours, you may report your claim to our after-hours emergency claims contacts.
The purpose of our community room is to provide a location for members of the community to gather and hold non-profit meetings and events that serve to benefit the community. Our space has been used for complimentary computer classes, meetings supporting the local hockey teams, elections and information presentations.
We provide insurance products and services to New Brunswickers including home, auto, farm and commercial. We presently have offices in Fredericton, Keswick, Doaktown, Blackville, Miramichi and Tabusintac. NB owned insurance company. I checked out a home quote. Disappointed to learn they do not offer guaranteed replacement cost and couldn't help me with a commercial property. Not really what they like to insure, but could not help me!
July 31st- check backed, a month after June and no new wording for Guranteed replacement cost and lady did not know what I was talking about.
