Our dentists and dental professionals use advanced technology and treatments to provide exceptional care. This is Dr. Sharma but please call me Dimple! I came to Canada in 2000 after practicing as a dentist in India.

I passed the Canadian National Board dental examination in 2003 and began to practice here. After practicing in various dental offices around Toronto I took over Downtown Dental Centre and continued their long-standing practice and tradition of excellent patient care. My time at Downtown Dental is an amazing journey.

New Patients Report

This is where we get to know you! During your first exam we'll talk about your dental health and your concerns. We'll also perform a dental exam to get a better picture of your dental health and identify any areas of concern. Your first exam may also include a set of x-rays. After the exam, we'll discuss your dental health and any necessary treatments you may need.

Spoke to a very nice lady on the phone. Emergency dental in my mind is something that could have potential medically for a patient, like an abscessed tooth. Eligibility shouldn't be based on the type of coverage a patient has. This is nothing against the lady who answered the phone but on a cynical business practice that can turn people away who have the potential for an even greater emergency. Dentists should be held to the same standards as doctors because in some cases "dental emergencies" can be life threatening if not addressed.

The best dental experience I have had. Everyone is friendly. Had to get 4 teeth removed, I was very nervous going in, but Dr. Shevket was awesome. Made me feel comfortable, and had the teeth out in minutes. The whole staff is awesome, and friendly, from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Definitely recommend Downtown Dental Centre.
