Normally the food is very good but I fear Karaikudi is changing a good thing. We normally love the butter chicken here. So much so my wife and I feel it’s the best in the city. But today, after ordering the same dish we usually do, the butter chicken sauce tasted fairly different. It is normally sweet with a very rich taste. Today though, it was salty, not as rich, and different spices were used which altered the taste. Hopefully this review makes it back to the owner as their previous sauce was the best in town. The price was also raised by about 20%, which is fine and worth it if they are still

Simply loved their Chettinad curry items and parotha. And, best part is that they also serve authentic filter coffee (which is a rare find in Toronto as most places in GTA serve regular coffee on name of filter coffee.
Will surely keep visiting, specially for yhe filter coffee.

We got the Paper Dosa, Mutton Sukka Masala, Parotta and Vadai. This place is famous for their EXTRA LARGE Dosa, and boy they were MASSIVE! The Dosa came with Coconut, Tomato Chutney, and Sambar to dip in. For those of you who don’t know, DOSA is a South Indian crepe that’s crispy and went super well with the sauces. Dined in here after a few years. We made reservations for 7 and our table was ready when we got there. I was happy that it wasn't too crowded on a Friday evening since we went with a 2 year old and a baby.
We ordered a bottle of Merlot, mango milkshake, falooda, fries, chicken 65, chilli gobi dry, chilli fish dry, chettinad chicken curry, mutton chukka masala, fish curry, kadai paneer, garlic naan, butter naan, veg biryani, plain dosa, ghee masala dosa, onion tomato chili uttapam and madras coffee.
