Nice and clean. Large suite that suited our family well. The bathroom had yet to be renovated. The staff are friendly and efficient. Coffe and tea in lobby. Great views from balcony.

The website says completely renovated. Our room wasn't. A leg on one of our chairs was broken. There were ants in the bathroom. Found a small beetle in the bed. Flies buzzing around. And it wasn't inexpensive. Won't go back.

Nice rooms. All lake views (when there is no smoke). If you stay on the top floor prepare to do 31 steps each time you go up and down (no elevator!). The only issue I had was that there was no I suite coffee maker so had to get dressed to go down to the front lobby first thing in the morning. Did have fridge and microwave in the room. The ice machine was empty most of the time. Otherwise quite nice and quiet.

It was affordable, but the rooms were seriously in need of undating. The toilet and tub are sky blue and our carpet had an iron burn in the middle of it. There could be more attention to cleaning. Before leaving I did a quick sweep of the room to see if kids left anything behind and discovered under the beds were used Kleenex, a fork, and loads of dust.

A great quiet place to stay that is nestled just on the other side of the orange bridge from the city.
The front desk hospitality and going the extra mile was fantastic!
If you are looking for clean and reasonably priced accomodations, this place receives a check mark on both. The balconys of the units all face the lake looking towards the city. A great way to enjoy your complimentary coffee in the morning.
To the owners and staff at the North Shore Inn, keep up the excellent work!

Budget friendly inn. Amenities are minimalistic. No elevator, but has good view of the lake. People paying this price range shouldn't have high expectations. This place won't wow you but it's clean and tidy.

Nice hotel with some limited lake view. Room is big with balcony, you can almost see the lake from the balcony, bed is comfortable, bit old in furnishing but still very comfortable and clean. WiFi is good. Location is also good, just north of bridge, will need a car if goes to baker street.

Reasonable rates, dog-friendly (hard to find those in this location), nice lawn to enjoy the evening. Our room was very spacious. Breakfast buffet is very basic (bread, bagels, butter, jam) but does the job; would be even better with some yogurt or hardboiled eggs. Room had a fridge and microwave. Ice machine is an old kind with a hand scoop inside. Location on other side of bridge from downtown was very convenient. Highly recommend hiking nearby Pulpit Rock.

Had a good experience staying here. The location could have been closer to downtown but most of the time it was actually nice to have a place away from the downtown scene once in a while. The room itself wasn't incredibly huge but was clean and had a comfy bed. The best part for us was the balcony that came with our room, quiet place to see the lake, wind down at night, or have breakfast. Great place.
