Services
Free WiFi Connection in every cottage (upgraded to Eastlink for faster speed for 2017) and throughout the property. Children's playground with several swing sets, fast slide, trapeze sets, climbing cargo nets, 2 sets of monkey bars, 2 rock climbing walls, a large climbing dome, and 2 teeter totters that also act like a merry-go-round.
We have a quiet property and do not permit large gatherings. Maximum two cottages per group (Canada Day through Labour Day). We limit the # of Off Site Visitors to 5 maximum, even if you book two cottages maximum # of Off Site Visitors permitted is still 5 (not 5 per cottage). NO Pets allowed to accompany Off Site Visitors to our property.
We offer Golf Packages for PEI, just minutes to 4 PEI Championship Golf Courses in the Cavendish Area - Anderson's Creek Golf Course, Eagles Glenn Golf Course, Glasgow Hills Golf Course and Green Gables Golf Course. We can customize a PEI Golf Package for you with you golfing at the Golf Courses of your choice.
Bottle of Wine (white or red) OR Gift Box of Preserve Jams from the famous PEI Preserve Company. Breakfast for 2 at a Local Restaurant we've partnered with (choice of menu) AND a Breakfast for 2 at Cafe On The Clyde (located inside the PEI Preserve Company). Dinner for 2 at a Local Restaurant we've partnered with (choice of menu) AND Lobster Supper for 2 at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers.
Please Note: there will be No Cavendish Beach Music Festival for 2021 but expect it to resume for 2022. Use of CANNABIS is NOT permitted on our property effective 2021 and those who use it will not be allowed to stay with us. Therefore if you have members in your group who use Cannabis you will not be able to book with us.

Spent three nights in a two bedroom cottage. Everything was great, the cottage was exceptionally clean. It was a well equipped cottage and the one we stayed in appeared to have updated flooring throughout and a… new tub/shower. The staff was very helpful both during our stay and prior to our stay when we booked our vacation. Would recommend as a great accommodation option near Cavendish.

Mayfield was just as expected. Cute and comfortable. Very clean with precise instructions for in-room amenities. Children loved the pool and we loved the convenience of having our day trips booked for us. All in all, during a global pandemic, Mayfield was the perfect place to forget about it all for a few days.

Booked from Aug 3rd-7th. Nice location, close to both North Rustico for exploring and Cavendish for fun. Very clean cottages, with all amenities and lots of room for 5 of us. Pool was great for the kids during down time. Very affordable and the best rates for family packages, compared to 5 other properties offering packages on the PEI tourism site!… Lorraine and her lovely Mom are down to earth, made us feel welcome, wanted us to have a good time while we were there and genuinely cared about the comfort of our family. Just returned from a weekend stay. Absolutely without a doubt would return in the future. The two women who run these cottages also live on sight, and from our perspective are extremely active in management… and upkeep daily.. Always available and seen around the area doing things. The 1 bedroom cottage we stayed in was very clean on arrival and lots spacious for the 3 of us. The pool is clean and plenty big too. Quiet area and super close to plenty of adventures. And to mention, they even accommodated us with our 23 foot boat being parked without a second thought throughout the entire weekend

My husband and I came with another couple and shared a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage! The cottage was fully furnished and well equipped. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee perk, and air conditioner, to mention a few. Would highly recommend. Very friendly. Within 15 minutes of Cavendish Beach and within 30 minutes of Charlottetown. Great spot, would definatelt stay here again!

I booked a 4 night reservation, RECEIVED CONFIRMATION, showed up for our vacation and was told she overbooked and didn't have a cottage for us. She said she missed a number when entering my credit card info and it didn't go through and she didn't notice. NO APOLOGY...just a phone number for 2 other cottage properties, which when we visited were not to the standard we wanted, nor were they available. Very disappointing. One chance per year for a nice family vacation and this happens.
