Coal Creek Golf Course
Thank you very much for your interest in Coal Creek Golf Resort. Whether it is to join us on our dynamic and challenging golf course, which features excellent conditions and the only black sand traps in Alberta or staying in one of our spacious RV lots, we are sure your visit will be memorable! A hidden gem in the world of golf courses.

The bunkers are black coal. The fairways are lush and the greens are intriguing. This is a challenge for any golfer. The staff are pleasant, friendly and professional. About 6 months ago I placed several games with friends and family and was so impressed with the scenery, atmosphere, and how the course suits its surrounding.

I had a great time and the course is in very good condition. The greens were fast and true. Playing in those conditions on Dec. 2nd is a tribute to the grounds crew and the staff at the course.
Thank you for a great day.

No my first, second or third choice for golf, but it has some nice views. Also they charge more than better courses nearby.

My wife and I like riding our bikes to the restaurant at the golf course to get lunch and enjoy the views. Wifey's bike got a flat on the way there. My mini pump was slowly filling the new tube and we asked a server if they had a larger pump for filling the golf cart tires. The server connected us young gentleman working with the carts and he took time and helped find the proper connection for their compressor and walla (sp?) the tube filled right up pronto! The server was great about drink refills and bringing the food to a table near where I was changing the tire. So all in all 5 stars and many

We've visited here a few times and hit on their range. Beautifully maintained course, laid back atmosphere. My son loved his PGA Juniors Golf camp here. Coaches were great.

Looking for a sneak away breakfast spot with a view.... found it. great food with a patio view over the 1st & 10th fairways- 8th & 18th holes - majestic trees and perfect ambiance for peaceful conversation. great simple little menu. Very enjoyable. if the course is as good as the restaurant, then u should be in for a fantastic round.

Best value for golf in the Edmonton area right now. $50 includes cart and range,Mon- Wed. Course was in great shape and the greens were true, fast and receptive, Well worth the one hour drive to get here.

I don't play golf but I come often to the cafe for breakfast. Attractive women abound. From comments I've heard this golf course is very welcoming of new players and is not full of snobs. The ground are superbly maintained by the city of Louisville Colorado. There are five hotels around the course.

Great golf course, but it ends there. Middle of nowhere, gravel everywhere, surly staff. You arrive and have to figure out where to check in,where to get a cart where the range is, no starter at the first tee.OK guess we can tee off now. The course is on a plateau with really great views but some genius thought leaving old tractors and giant scrapers around the course would add character. Wrong on a lot of levels. Great cart girl, greens, and the black sand bunkers are awesome. If someone tells me that all of those issues have been addressed I might go back.

Just an amazing golf course to play. Great layout with very unique feature, black sand bunkers.

Just one hours out of Edmonton, 35 min outside of Sherwood park.

Pro: $42 Twilight weekend, $54 dollars weekend normal green fee walking. Awesome layout, great greens, lush and soft fairways (most), unique black sands. Great atmosphere

Cons, mosquitoes late in the afternoon, walking golfers may take longer than expect due to distance between hole/tee fairway.

Definitely one of my new favourite golf course in Edmonton area.
