Services
Dr. Elliott completed his undergraduate degree at the university of Western Ontario in 1984, and went on to complete the Doctor of Dental Surgery program also at Western in 1988. Dr. Elliott was born and raised in Malton, Ontario. Growing up in a small town has really been reflected in the patient -centered practice Dr. Elliott has built here in Sharon.
Dr. Elliott established this office Sharon Dental in 1995 while still having a practice in Orangeville. Sharon Dental was becoming a very family oriented practice with our patient base expanding due to referrals of our patient's family and friends. In 2000 Dr. Elliott decided to sell his Orangeville practice and focus his attention solely on Sharon Dental.
At Sharon Dental - Your Trusted Sharon Dentists, Offers Preventative Dentistry to Ensure That Your Teeth are Clean, Strong, and White. At Sharon Dental - your Sharon Dentists offers many preventative dentistry services to maintain optimal oral health. As a start, Sharon Dental recommends frequent check-ups to not only ensure your teeth are clean, strong, and white, but to detect problems before they become worse.
Many people think brushing their teeth regularly is enough to prevent cavities and gum disease, but it is not enough to keep your smile bright, healthy and beautiful. Flossing is a very important part of dental care. You need to floss every day to clean the surfaces between your teeth. If you don't remove the plaque regularly, it can lead to gum disease, tooth decay and loss of teeth.
As parents, we protect our children every day. We teach them social skills, make sure their toys are safe, and do our best to keep them healthy. Taking care of their gums and teeth, right from the moment they are born, is one more way we can show our children that we love them. Tooth decay is unhealthy and unattractive as it can damage a child's speech, nutrition and self-esteem at a very early age.
