Kabi Lake Forest Products is a road building and logging company that performs and sub-contracts all operations necessary for wood harvesting including road construction and maintenance to access harvest areas. We have been successful, despite the forestry sector collapse in 2011, due to our shift into the construction sector.
We have been in operation for over 32 years and acquired equipment and experience to do any job, small or large. Our contract volume since 2010 has reached $54,000,000. Kabi Lake works closely with many First Nations Communities. We currently hold a joint venture with Pic Mobert First Nation- Part owner of WR Hydro Electric Project.

Phase one included building site access, creating laydown for a 300 person camp area and storage areas, drilling/blasting of 350,000m3 of rock, constructing the power generation site, diversion and intake channels, tailrace, fish habitat and low level spillway channel. We also grubbed and stripped 250,000m3 of earth and cut/cleared 350ha for the future reservoir.
Kabi Lake Forest Products has developed Safe Operating Procedures for every piece of equipment and activity performed. We have been awarded with Safe Workplace Ontario accreditation by OFSWA for their development of these procedures. Our Health and Safety Policy is continuously updated and improved.
