90 years in the business of helping North American exporters and importers successfully deliver their goods to market is a long time. As part of the Trealmont Transport group of companies, we draw on this history of customer service, attention to detail and value driven solutions to a wide range of logistics challenges.
Ocean or inland; bulk, breakbulk or intermodal; letter of credit or open terms, we have the team in place that can design the logistics solution, negotiate the rates and terms, co-ordinate the dates and prepare the complete documentation set needed to execute successful transactions on an industrial scale.

Not long after, in 1933, Montreal Shipping expanded into vessel ownership, management and chartering, with freight forwarding being a natural progression of the business in the 1950's. With the expansion of cargo representation on Canada's west coast, Trealmont Chartering was formally incorporated in 1996 with offices in Montreal and Vancouver, and within the next decade expanded into the United States.

Regardless of how far the distance that our client's cargo needs to travel, most shipments incorporate a ground move, even if it's only a short move between a local warehouse and a port TTL understands what is required to move a container from a warehouse to a vessel, a rail car from a mine site to a port or a long haul highway truckload across a border.
