Unlike mainstream medicine, which focuses on treating symptoms and existing disorders, chiropractic medicine is preventative and can address issues and imbalances before they result in illness and disease. While chiropractic treatment certainly helps people after the onset of injury, such as following car accidents or sports and work-related injuries, regular 'tune-ups' keep the whole system aligned and contribute to optimal health.
My patients range in age from newborns to 94 years old. I use a variety of chiropractic techniques and also provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance. Central Chiropractic Clinic is located in the Oliver community in downtown Edmonton. We are always accepting new patients and there is free clinic parking available just outside the office door.

Services
The main form of treatment chiropractors deliver is called an adjustment - a non-invasive procedure consisting of a precise directed movement to help relieve pain and discomfort, and restore range of motion. Sometimes chiropractors will also use other therapies like massage, heat, laser and ultrasound.
You will be asked to share information about your health, such as any injury or surgery, medications you are taking and family health history. The first visit will take longer than following visits, because a physical assessment will be conducted based on the reason for your visit. The assessment might include posture, range of motion, reflexes, and other orthopaedic and neurologic tests.
Your auto insurance covers you for a minimum of 10 chiropractic treatments for minor injuries under the Alberta Diagnostic Treatment Protocols Regulation. In addition, every Albertan is entitled to $750 of chiropractic care coverage for more serious injuries (under Section B), but access to these benefits varies based on your auto policy.
If you are hurt at work, you can seek chiropractic treatment immediately. The WCB does not require you to see a medical doctor first. For almost 10 years, chiropractic treatment has had the highest satisfaction rates among injured workers. We will submit assessment information to the WCB for review and to determine the outcome of your claim.
Being regulated means that chiropractors in Alberta must obey all legislative requirements set by the government for all health care providers. Other health care providers that are regulated include nurses, dentists, medical doctors and optometrists. The Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors (ACAC) is entrusted with enforcing the requirements set by government for all chiropractors.

Started seeing Dr. Yaremko last November - been to many different Chiros (and also a huge variety of health practitioners, doctors, specialists, infectious disease and even naturopaths) in the past 8 years - searching for pain relief from nerve and muscle pain (chronic pain). Some Chiros were better than others but this guy has definitely changed things for me. I'm not cured but I feel I am more on the path to well being than I have been in the previous 8 years (since my total hip replacements-2007 2008). I admire that he allows the treatment plan to be determined by his patients - this has never

Dr. Yaremko is one of the best around. I was involved in a car accident in 2005 which resulted in some major problems with my jaw, back, and neck. I tried many different treatments/therapies and finally tried out chiropractic. He came highly recommended and I learned firsthand why. He is very professional, highly knowledgeable, and always willing to give his advice. Within a few months I was nearly as good as new and years later, I feel no residual effects from my accident. I live a very healthy, active lifestyle and I feel that periodic visits to Dr. Yaremko has enabled me to continue living the

I have been seeing a number of Chiropractors over the last 10 years and Dr Yaremko is by far the best. After suffering a ruptured disc in my lower back, I now find it necessary to get adjusted at least once a month and I would often travel 450km just to see him and have it done right. I highly recommend Central Chiropractic if anyone is looking for the chronic pain to go away or at least be manageble, it has certainly helped with me.

I've been a pt since 1999. Dr Yaremko cured my migraines which have affected me for 30+ years. Dr Y is very professional and caring. His is willing to address a number of issues on the same visit making it time and cost efficient. His service is typical of the kind of care received many years ago and I highly recommend him in a heart beat.

Dr. Roger deserves 5 stars, he is very professional and provides not only the treatment but also explains his plan to get you in better shape. I had chronic migraines and back pain since the I past few years. I decided that I had enough! The docs offered me all sorts of crazy drugs, but to no avail, I wanted a permanent solution! I've been going to Central Chiropractic clinic for last six months now and felt much better with no migraines and much better energy flow. I've never had better treatment plan and service at any other chiropractor, not even close.
