In 1996, Fantasia (fan-tah-see-yah) Gelati, came to life as a young, family-run company full of enthusiasm and energy prepared to bring Italy's favourite cold treat to Edmonton - gelato! Gelato opens up opportunities for endless imagination, creative presentation, unique flavours, and indulgence.
We wanted to maintain our strong ties to our Italian traditions and heritage, all the while recreating the true Italian gelato experience for all to enjoy and appreciate.We began our journey by importing a Sicilian gelato cart to Edmonton and providing gelato at local summer festivals. After years of providing gelato, not yet manufactured by us, we received numerous requests by our growing clientele to make it ourselves.

We have been trained by only the finest master roasters, and now our knowledgeable baristas carefully prepare every batch.
