We have led the way for cremation in the city of Calgary, being the longest established crematorium in the heart of the City Of Calgary Queen's Park Cemetery. Keeping pace with the increasing demand over the years, Calgary Crematorium has continually looked to upgrade and enhance our facilities for the families we served.
Within the last year we have added four 60 TV monitors with a live feed of our large chapel. This is appreciated by people who attend but prefer not sit in the chapel and when services are very large. Family and friends now have the ability to be at the service and view the live feed while sitting comfortably on one of our sofas or outside in the beautiful park like setting and view the service on one of two outdoor monitors.

Services
Jacques Funeral Home, aka. Fourty years later, in 1970, with cooperation of "City of Calgary Parks, " Calgary Crematorium and Funeral Services was built. Located in the heart of Queen's Park Cemetery: it was architecturally designed to suit the needs of Calgary's diverse and growing population. With business expanding rapidly, a second and larger location was considered.
Consultation with a licensed funeral director to coordinate all details for final disposition. Coordination of all details with respect to the musician, musical selections, soloist, clergy, flowers, cemetery and/or crematorium. OR transportation and rental of equipment and extra staffing required for services other than in our chapel.
Our modern, family oriented facility has been created to accommodate services of all sizes. We are located in Beautiful Queens Park Cemetery which provides a peaceful setting for your service and with abundant parking within the Queens Park Cemetery and Calgary Crematoriums spacious parking lot offers parking for over 150 vehicles.
Cremation is a form of final disposition for your loved one. There are many options for the final disposition of the urn that will hold the cremated remains. With cremation there are legal requirements and documents that need to be completed. Once all of this documentation is in order the cremation will take place, usually within 2 - 5 days.

Recently had a service for my Mom and we couldn't have been happier with the service and care we received. The staff was extremely helpful, compassionate and flexible. The information that Calgary Crematorium provides is second to none and the prices were a lot less than other cremation funeral homes in Calgary. Thank you from our family for making a very difficult time a little easier.

On behalf of my Uncle and my family I wanted to thank you and all of your staff for the care, consideration and kindness you showed in all stages of arranging and delivering the funeral and cremation for my Aunt, Joan. I know my John took great comfort from the respect shown by your staff when Zach and Sarah arrived at the Hospice they were so caring and left everyone feeling in good hands .
