Myrtle Point Golf Club
Here, renowned golf course architect Les Furber has crafted a layout that is truly a breathtaking West Coast masterpiece. Carved out of the foothills of the Coastal Mountains, its tree lined fairways demand both accuracy and length. Lakes, ponds and streams combine with strategically located bunkering.

Still, with 4 sets of tees, Myrtle Point guarantees a great golfing experience to all levels of ability. At the end of the day, it will be the players who have the courage of their convictions who will be rewarded here. Great golf aside, what really makes Myrtle Point special is the warm west coast welcome guests receive from the staff and members.

With this kind of experience, you can trust the staff at the Myrtle Point Golf Club to make your tournament completely worry free.

Play nine holes on our championship golf course, compete for longest drive and closest to the pin prizes, relax over dinner and win great prizes! The focus is on fun! We play scramble format with different fun twists that encourage teamwork, socializing and game improvement, and we never put the emphasis on score.
The Orca Bar & Grill offers a family-friendly room open 7 days a week. The ambiance is playful and social - live sports on the multiple screens, great music playing in the background, and a cozy fireplace section. When the weather warms up, Powell River's largest and most scenic patios over-looking the 18th green and Georgia Strait welcomes golfers and local patrons alike.

Decent course with friendly staff, open to public bookings. Spotted two bobcats whilst out playing in November which was a bonus!

A real hidden gem. Condition was very good. Hard to imagine greens any better to putt on. Very fast. Staff were very friendly and so were the locals. Food was good at sensible prices.

Good pace of play for a weekday morning. Very nicely maintained course with some fun and challenging structure. Pretty tight fairways in places with ball stealing vegetation throughout. Restaurant was ok. Sort of a limited menu but all you really need in a golf course restaurant. Not a bad walk as there is limited elevation.

Myrtle Point is a hidden secret. It is a great layout, and a serious test from the back tees. The course is really well designed to take account of the prevailing winds. The rates are very reasonable and it is very easy to get on. Although it is a bit out of the way, I would highly recommend this course.
