Founded in 2007 by Andrew Lam at the age of 20, with a passion in the automotive industry and the goal to provide the highest quality cosmetic repairs and services. Choosing the name AUTO RECON was key knowing we wanted to be recognized for so much more than just quality in a single service but many.
Repairing the small cosmetic damages to the paint and body increases your vehicle's value and appearance. We can repair the damaged area without having to re-paint and clear the entire panel. Doing so, labour and product costs are low, passing on the savings to you! Average starting cost $350 (price varies due to the size and type of damage, 3-stage pearlescent paint, light bodywork & cracked bumpers.)
A cost-effective permanent repair for exposed paint damage. Our specialty formulated paints are color matched and applied to the exposed paint. This process fills in, seals, and helps to camouflage paint chips, road rash and pitted paint with the existing paint finish. Repairing: exposed paint, paint chips, rock chips, stone chips, chipped door edges, pitted paint & road rash.
There are many ways to mask scratches such as waxes, glazes, sealants or any other "make up" style products. While they are great fillers to cover and hide a scratch, and even may look good, looks can be deceiving. After time, these filler-type repairs will wear down / diminish with car washing or rain.
After time sunlight, road salt, harsh chemicals and road debris all leave headlights looking yellow, foggy and hazy. The surface damage this causes makes your headlights unpleasant to look at and have poor nighttime visibility. I took my car to get some scratches removed and ceramic coating put on, he also fixed a few other little issues that happened this year to the car, he did such a great job we brought in our truck for scratch and chip repair.

I recently had Auto Recon do some paint correction to my Mercedes and apply a ceramic coating. It turned out extremely well and far exceeded my expectations. On my initial visit Andrew really impressed me. He explained the services that Auto Recon provides, made recommendations on what would be best for my car and gave me accurate estimates of the costs that would be incurred. He took the time to give me a tour of his workshop which was pristine. I found Andrew to be very personable and passionate about his work. Andrew and the team at Auto Recon are easily the best spot repair guys in the city. Being the Service Manager at a premium dealership, our customer's expect a top tier level of service, and a high quality of work. Auto Recon delivers both. We were in a pinch for a vehicle and they stayed late (until 8:00pm!!), to help us out and get the car finished. We were beyond thrilled, and our customer was even more so. You'd be crazy to go anywhere else for spot repairs! Well done Auto Recon!

Andrew and his crew at Auto Recon are professionals and never disappoint. They tackled a very sharp door dent and repaired some deep hood scratches that showed very well on black paint. These were incredibly hard repairs along ridges that would easily show imperfections, but in their capable hands, they made it all go away. I would recommend Auto Recon to everyone. Friendly, Fast and Very Reasonable Prices. I am very impressed yet again.
