We hired Green City Movers for two moves recently - our office, and, a few days later, a two stop move into a fourth floor walk-up apartment. Cosby, Vladmir and the crew were professional, courteous, and careful - even when our second move went until 10 PM. And, their price was great. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I just wanted to add that Green City Movers were a quality operation. They take great care with your belongings and they did my move pretty efficiently. They arrived on time and all the personnel were kind, mask-wearing and worked with good speed. I would recommend them for sure!

These guys were fantastic! Very careful with our things and take care of everything. They were very flexible too considering how difficult it was to find a spot for the (very large) truck. Would definitely recommend.

Working with them is like being helped by friends and family--with major professional experience. Aside from helping us with an intense two-day move, they checked up on our cat the next day to see how she was. And came back in a heartbeat when we needed extra help a few days later. Highly recommend! This is an excellent moving company and I had a positive experience end to end, from the customer service person on the phone, to the movers themselves, to the person driving the van. My partner and I were moving two apartments into one, so it was a heavy move in the summer heat, but these folks remained professional, friendly, and accommodating with on-the-spot requests. I've moved several times around NYC using various movers, and these folks were the best.

We hired Green City for a move 20 miles away from my old town. Ikaev was ernest and gave a very competitive quote, and was willing to explain to me how we might be able to bring the price down (i.e. working with the days if we are flexible). He also threw in free tape and boxes which is very helpful. We had a few snafus throughout the move, most of which is just happenchance (Murphy's Law of course) -- but Ikaev took it in his stride and worked with us to resolve all issues as reasonably as possible. Go past his tough man Russian personality -- he is a very good man to do business with

I found this company on Google (search), contacted them on a holiday, the day before my move. Mike and Ikaev are lovely people: In a professional, and yet friendly manner, they provided me a reasonable quote; communicated constantly with me - sometimes to respond to my queries and allay my concerns and other times to provide a status; provided all the documentation my building required before the move (processed in about half an hour) and the guys arrived very shortly after the documents were submitted and within the timeframe we expected them. The movers are excellent: very very nice, very professional

Very Bad Experience - there was supposed to be 4 guys but they never found a parking spot? so 1 stayed in the truck the whole time, 3 of them came up to the apt w/o supplies, then after an hour, 2 of the guys disappeared for over an hour....so I ended up packing what I could with the 1 guy left. After searching outside the bldg for them and trying to call them, the main guy said they would only charge us for 10 hours. Once we moved into the new place and after they broke a lamp, the main guy said he never said 10 hours and wanted to charge us well past that and argued with me. He then told my

Quite a few problems with these guys.
1) HIDDEN FEES HIDDEN FEES HIDDEN FEES. They refused to talk about price (that is, they nodded when I reiterated what I had agreed to with the manager of the company) but then when we arrived at my new apartment, they wanted $200 more for travel time and a bunch of extra BS. Not unheard of, but unacceptable nonetheless. The manager, Norman, had told me over the phone when we confirmed a couple of days before the move that he estimated a total of 4 hours labor time and that if it went over, it would be $30 per extra half hour. It ended up being an extra $90

With any move, there are always headaches. We have very heavy furniture and a lot of fragile items. The crew at Green City did an amazing job wrapping and packing our items and moved us in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. They supplied all packaging and material for a low flat cost. Strongly recommend and would use them again.
