Sherwood Styling Salon has been open since 1963 in Charlottetown. The current owner, Sandra, took over the salon in 1989 and has been in the beauty industry for over 26 years. Sandra cultivates an environment in her salon that is both family-friendly and professional. All of our stylists are licensed and certified and keep updated on all the latest trends and styles, attending classes twice a year.

Such an easy and good experience for my 4 year old daughter. I booked the same day for an appointment, and I was booked in a few hours later.
The ladies were so kind to my shy daughter - they made her feel relaxed and calm.
The haircut was very cute and my daughter loves it! I'll certainly be bringing her back!

Asked for a lot of layers and texture got two different haircuts, a blunt cut to start and a bob cut on top looks rediculous, not at all like the picture that I showed the stylist for reference. Will never go there again. Despite the great reviews I would caution people to think twice and choose somewhere else. Had to go somewhere else to fix their mistake. Would give one star but that was not an option.

Very disappointed in the manner that I was treated . I went in person to assure that I was able to book with a stylist that excelled in texturing and thinning my hair type . The stylist I was recommended was someone I was familiar with from a former salon and I was very pleased to book an appoint with this particular person . Today was my appointment 1) upon announcing who I was and whom my stylist was there was no indication that there was a change 2) a girl came and did not introduce herself but I thought she was just washing my hair 3) was seated and this same girl started cutting my hair .

I had what I'd call a "marathon of hair" request with fashion colours, they had me booked in with a stylist who knew her stuff on the day I requested with very little notice; a stylist who was super personable… and made the time fly by. Amanda's hard work gave me a style and colour that I love, and she had fantastic product recommendations too. I will absolute be back, Thanks a million!
