Immigration to any country is a long and tedious process. Canadian immigration process is no exception. With so many modalities and so much paperwork to prepare and still wait for years, it can be very frustrating. To get you through the whole process result, you need a guide who is well versed in the acts and regulations of Canadian Immigration Law.
Skilled workers are professionals who have education, work experience, knowledge of English or French, and other abilities that will help them to establish themselves successfully in Canada. You have at least one continuous year of full-time, paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment.
The application period for the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital (IIVC) Pilot Program is closed. The Department is not accepting applications at this time. If you are an international investor with the skills and abilities needed to contribute to our economy and integrate into Canadian society, you may be eligible to apply for permanent residence under the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital (IIVC) Pilot Program.
You must also show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. Relevant experience for a self-employed person means at least two years of experience. It must be during the period starting five years before the day you apply and ending on the day we make a decision on your application.
Your application to come to Canada through the Start-up Visa program will be assessed on a pass/fail basis. Four requirements must be met. If these requirements are met, your application will be reviewed based on CIC's standard admissibility criteria, including health, criminality and security. CIC may request an independent peer review to ensure that due diligence was performed by the designated organization that issued your Letter of Support.
