Kamstra Landscaping & Garden Supplies
Kamstra Landscaping started as a full service landscape contractor in the early 1960's. The humble beginnings were on Townline Road South, where Jim erected a large steel shed to store his trucks and equipment, The company has been operating from their current location on Taunton Road East for over 50 years.

His wife Corry, his sons Harry and Ted, and numerous employees throughout the years have helped make Kamstra Landscaping the successful business it is today. Although Kamstra Landscaping has shifted the focus of the business and we no longer provide landscaping services, we do provide the supplies you need to do your own projects.

OUR GARDEN CENTRE & STORE IS NOW OPEN with physical distancing and customer limit protocols. Can't wait to get back to the garden? Use this handy spring garden guide to get started. Believe it or not, the key is avoid getting too impatient and doing certain jobs too soon. Start winter cleanup of the lawn when the grass is no longer sopping wet and planting beds stop being a sea of mud. Rake your lawn to get rid of dead growth, stray leaves, twigs and winter debris and let light and air to the soil level, encouraging the grass to grow.
Many trees, shrubs and evergreens have the root ball wrapped in burlap and secured with string or rope. Large sizes have the ball contained in a wire basket. These must be planted just the way they are, burlap, rope and wire basket too. Fill around the ball with a good soil mix to three-quarters and water thoroughly.
Our screened topsoil is natural and processed using our state-of-the-art equipment. This process allows the consumer to enjoy a product that is free of debris and very easy to work with. If your garden soil is poor or has been removed during home construction, you can purchase new topsoil ideal for growing plants.

Ordered a delivery of 2 tons of topsoil from Kamstra. First and last time. Never again. The delivery driver was so miserable. He caused damage to my front yard. Reversed the truck on to the grass. Dumped half top soil onto my driveway. When I called to voice my concern, they asked me to email them the pictures of damage and they will pass it on to the owner. Nothing back from them.
Poor customer service. Try calling them, you will be lucky if they answer after half a dozen tries.
