Apart from allowing us to store our gear prior to check in time. (Thank-you) the fireplace didn't work and the repair guy was the check-in guy who couldn’t fix it which was and a huge reason to book this room was the romantic fireplace and bath for our anniversary. Paid $200 for something not worth it. Won't be back. AirBnB or camping is way better.

Tired old style, internet down, no wifi ,TV remote didn't work. Staff pleasant but incompetent. Postage stamp size manual TV.
Very disappointed. This was their top room $230. Plus. Manager apologized. Didn't help it ruined our weekend in Peterborough. Head board supported off the wall with pices of 2x4 that banged the wall if you moved in the bed. My pillows were filled with chunks of foam very irregular and not comfortable.

Upon arrival I noticed the hotel had an weird smell. We got to our room and noticed the furniture was quite outdated. The television was small.
My husband tried turning on the television and it didn’t turn on. We called the front desk and they came up but couldn’t get the television to work either. We were suggested to switch rooms as the television in the room beside us was working. We switched rooms. The room was pretty much the same the layout just a bit different than our previous one.
Our television in our new room only got one channel. This was disappointing.

Brutal. We stayed in what was supposed to be one of their best suites but it is terribly run down and many aspects of the room are clearly never maintained. Both phones didn't work, power went out and no one followed up with my call, fireplace is falling apart, screens in windows are falling off and there are leaves and dirt all over inside, hand prints on walls, and so much more. No parking on site. Can't believe I paid $200 for this! Stay anywhere else. I have pictures if I can get them posted.

Recently stayed at this Hotel. Although Peterborough is not a huge tourist town the hotel was quite nice. The hotel is roughly around 50 years old. Staff treated us great and were very accommodating. I had a problem with the Tv and they fixed the issue right away. Its definitely a quite hotel and very clean! Some issues l did have was they don't have air conditioning BUT they did have a free standing air conditioner in each room but unfortunately was quite loud but you do get use to it. When it comes to parking you have to park around the corner from the hotel in a parking garage but it is free

My husband and I stayed at the Inn on our way to Algonquin Park to view the autumn colours. The front desk person was extremely nice and gave us a room at the front of the building. He also gave us a free parking pass for around the corner and a 15% off coupon for numerous restaurants - we went to Hot Belly Momma's - supposedly Cajun fare - don't go as it is not very good.
Although a little dated, the room was sparkling clean and featured a in room fireplace and a jacuzzi in the bathroom (that's the dated part!). The room was well appointed and comfortable although the bed could have been updated
