Today, Barrie Welding & Machine is one of the most complete "turn-key" jobbing shops in North America. The company originated in 1945 from humble beginnings as a three man team working out of an old horse barn in the community of Barrie, Ontario. In 1955, a new industrial location was purchased and outfitted with more modern equipment to meet the needs of a growing city and area.
