I have been meaning to write a review of this pharmacy for a long time. I began to go here several years ago, after having terrible experiences at chain pharmacies in numerous locations in Vancouver and Toronto. I was used to being ignored when I walked in, being spoken to in an uncaring (to say the least) manner by the pharmacists, as if I was intruding on their busy schedule.
On the other hand, the first time I walked into Maple Leaf Medical Pharmacy to pick up something due to its convenient location in the same building as my doctor, the woman behind the counter IMMEDIATELY said "Hello" and

Called in perscription early yesterday morning. Was told they would call when ready.
Of course NO CALL.
Went to pick up this morning, clerk couldn't find it. After searching, and looking through papers, they decided it's not ready!
What a total waste of my time, which I dont have time to waste.

My regular go to pharmacy. I can always count on them to have what is required. I have never had an issue of any sort with the team at this location. My doctor is in the building so anytime a prescription is needing to be filed, I can drop off the script , go for a coffee a cross the street and return with my prescription filled and waiting for me.

I've been using Maple Leaf Pharmacy for more than a decade, and at times I don't know what I would have done without them. I'm confident there is no other pharmacy that would go beyond the duty of care for their clients like Maple Leaf. All the staff are extremely friendly and show compassion and care.
