If I could possess any super power it would be: The ability to read all these women's minds that I work with. It would make my life a lot easier. I grew up on a mixed farm, grain, beef and dairy near St. Brieux. Throughout school, I spent my summers working at my Aunt's mixed animal practice in Stoughton, SK.
Gateway Veterinary Services operates an open hospital. This means that our team welcomes owners to be with their animals during any medical procedure, whether a simple vaccination or a complex surgery as long as it in the best interests of the animal. To focus on our patients' needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we only bill those set up with business accounts. As situations arise beyond your control, we want to be able to offer you services you can afford yet what is best for the animal.

Thank god for Victor getting up at Midnight to meet us at the clinic for an allergic reaction. Our dog was experiencing severe swelling in his face. Being north of Tisdale we called every after hours vet in a 50km radius and NOBODY PICKED UP THE PHONE. Except victor. He was very professional and caring spent the whole time focusing on Simon and taking extra care not to send us away to soon. I can truly recommend this place.

I don’t know if it could be possible to make our experience at Gateway any better. Over the top with super friendly, professional service. From answering the call initially, to squeezing us in quickly, prompt intake upon arrival, truly professional examination by both Victor and Tim with a wealth of information and explanation, courteous on checking out, follow up text to check on well-being of Heidi. Wow! It doesn’t get any better than that for service! I will certainly recommend Gateway Veterinary to everyone. Cudos to the entire staff, you are much appreciated.

Dr. Victor and his staff have always been very helpful and go above and beyond to make sure the needs of our pets and livestock are met. We recently had to put our long time farm dog and family pet to rest and we were so appreciative of the extra care and kindness that was shown to us. Dr. Victor came out and explained the procedure and took time outside of his office hours to allow us to be home and with our girl as we said goodbye. Thank you

Camping in the Waskesiu area on the weekend when our dog got very sick after eating something he shouldn't have. Gateway was the only vet open within 150 miles on Saturday morning. The staff said to bring him right in, no appointment was necessary. We got our dog in right away and he received excellent treatment from the doctor and staff. Very professional service at a reasonable price. If we lived in the Melfort area this would be the vet we would use. I highly recommend this place.

Dr Victor is the best doctor around. He cares so much for your pets and it is so assuring to have someone like that. He answers your call anytime of the day. I sometimes get paranoid and trouble him at 3am but he answers with the same patience every time. Lucky to have found this clinic.

Very good vet service. We drive from Saskatoon actually to use them. Despite the time and gas, they are still more affordable than stoon vets if you have more than one or two pets. We like their price, their service and availability have been great as well. Never have felt pressured or trying to be upsold anything at all. We have 4 cats.

We took a batch of puppies in for their first checkups and vaccinations. By far the BEST vet experience we have ever had. The staff was friendly, professional and did a thorough job. Dr. Lacey Walker and the vet tech Kendra Sorokoski were awesome. I highly recommend Gateway Vet Services. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Had an extremely sore horse after a weekend of riding while on vacation at a friend’s place.
A quick session with Dr Victor and our boy is better than new! No BS and didn’t gauge us on a long weekend vet call.
So grateful for the work done, the advice and learning about this amazing vet facility.
