Eric Goldberg pays homage to his father Lou, who immigrated to Canada with his parents at the age of seven. In 1946, Lou started what would become a Montreal institution, Lou Goldberg Jeweller. Lou's first "store" was a custom-made vest that allowed him to carry precious items of jewellery in its many pockets when he called upon clients in their homes.
Anyone can sell jewellery, but being able to instill confidence in the person you are selling to. Atelier Lou has a team of certified appraisers to give you a professional opinion of the authenticity, quality, and value of your jewellery.

***Great service with Eric but incredibly expensive for seemingly no reason? I had two necklaces fixed, one just needed two jump rings as the pendant had come off, the other needed to be restrung (would expect this to be around 40$). in total i paid 100 dollars for two jump rings and a very simple necklace to be restrung. On the necklace that was restrung there is super glue holding something together. disappointed and will not be going here again, far too expensive.

This jewelry store is tucked inside a building on Victoria Ave just south of Sherbrooke. My gym is in the same building and I would always gaze longingly at the pretty things in the window to/from the gym. I always thought it wasn't really one of those places you could just go in to browse, as it looked quite high end and had one of those security doors when you have to be buzzed in.

Incredible service .. I brought a Citizen Eco Drive for a scratched glass. They gave me all the available options for repair. The glass was changed in less than a work week including the original one. I was also offered support for any issues after the repair. Great experience and a beautiful place, thank you!
