Overview: The project required engineering services, project management, and construction management of Thermal Uprate for five transmission lines: 2L75, 2L76, 2L77, 3L14, and 3L15 for BC Hydro.
After reviewing the thermal rating studies and preliminary design for modifications done on these existing transmission circuits, ZE Power Engineering developed a procurement plan, construction plan, and risk assessment plan, as well as estimates and a schedule for the implementation phase to modify seven distribution crossings and one transmission crossing.

Overview: The main objectives of the Volt Variation Optimization project included decreasing system-wide losses, minimizing distribution system and customer voltage variation, lessening maintenance and operating costs, reducing/deferring capital spending, and increasing the power delivery capacity of existing equipment.
The scope of work for each development includes electrical and civil design, procurement and delivery of civil materials to the assigned civil contractor, procurement and installation of electrical materials, energization, and final turnover to BC Hydro.
The URD design team also provides the client with BC Hydro-approved construction drawings, necessary permits from municipalities and utilities, and as-built drawings upon project construction completion.In addition, some projects have required street light design and feeder infrastructure.
