M. Read Bookkeeping was founded in 2003 following the birth of my second daughter. At that time, I was working at a Chartered Accountant firm but struggling to live fully and achieve my ideal work-life balance. With much thought, I took a leap of faith and left my public practice career of 15 years to begin my own bookkeeping and software training business.
Farming is not just a lifestyle, it is a business. We prepare your records and provide you with financial information so you can focus on operating your farm. Business transactions are recorded using AgExpert Software and documents are organized using Hubdoc. Compile information at year end for submission to accountant for financial statement and T2 preparation.
Our payroll services are customized to your business's unique payroll needs. For many of us, our employees are a fundamental part of our business so we ensure to provide you with timely and accurate payroll. We are well versed in the Saskatchewan Employment Standards Legislation and are an active member of the Canadian Payroll Association.
