We are dedicated to the health, welfare and care of each animal we meet through collaborative relationships with each producer and owner. Kevin Breker graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. Dr. Breker has been living in Peace River since 1982. He works mainly out of the Peace River but when needed, he will head down to the High Prairie clinic as well.
Kevin's focus is working on large animals. He has a strong interest in equine dentistry, dairy herd health and beef herd health. Despite spending such long days on the road with his clients, Kevin finds time to regularly swim. In the summer he loves to canoe, hunt, fish, compete in triathlons and scuba dive.

Services
Cattle production is an ever-evolving effort, balancing the health of your animals with sound financial decisions is integral to the success of your operation. We aim to provide realistic advice and the services that serve this purpose and will keep you in the loop with changing best practices as they occur.
Whether you're riding pastures, jumping fences, cutting steers, or performing a piaffe, we strive to partner with you to provide for your horse's diverse needs. Regardless of the discipline, your horse's health and safety are of utmost importance to us. We endeavour to ensure their continued fitness and comfort so you can continue to do what moves you (and them!).
Budgies, cockatiels, parrots, and songbirds tend to live longer, healthier lives when they receive regular veterinary care. We recommend that you bring your bird in for an initial checkup, then stop by once a year to ensure that he or she remains healthy and isn't hiding signs of illness. Some birds require more frequent visits.

Our cat came in for glans issues. during the appointment, they did.not ask for permission or inform us that they will be cleaning her ears. this led to her becoming deaf. the staff handled it horribly. they denied any negligence and refused to take responsibility. shortly after, her health was a steady decline which resulted in her death. the best they said they can do is give free antibiotics.
