Sunshine Hills Dental Clinic offers comprehensive dental care for the whole family. Both Dr. Persson and Dr. Paterson graduated from the University of British Columbia, achieving their Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree in 1981. In 1982 they opened Sunshine Hills Dental Clinic and have been practicing dentistry and actively completing continuing education even since.

They provide preventative, restorative, cosmetic, implant and prosthetic dental care. In 2018, Dr. Bob Paterson's daughter, Dr. Kimberly Paterson, earned her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia and joined Sunshine Hills Dental. She is excited to bring the latest techniques and technologies to the practice.

We are gentle caregivers who are committed to providing a comfortable dental environment. We are here to help you with any questions you may have, give you options for your treatment needs, and provide quality dental care.

HE is a VERY PASSIONATE and CARING INDIVIDUAL , and NOW HIS LOVELY DAUGHTER Dr. Kimberly Paterson is WORKING at the CLINIC. DON'T WANT to LEAVE OUT Dr. Brad Persson , ALSO a VERY RESPECTED DENTIST. Earlier this week I went for a regular check up. In light of COVID, I was nervous (probably like many people). But the team at Sunshine Hills handled things extremely well. The staff were well organized allowing the entry and exit processes to move smoothly! The hygienist did a great job of wearing the proper PPE, wiping equipment/XRAY room down, and explaining things. Well done. Keep up the good work.

The staff at Sunshine Hills Dental were personable, kind and extremely thorough. They put their patients first and provide a breakdown through every step they complete. The intelligence of the dentists and hygienists clearly runs right through the whole staff as they provide the most comfortable dental trips I've ever had.
I highly recommend for any person, of any age! They are also great with kids of all ages making them feel comfortable in every situation.

I always receive a professional caring service from the dentists and hygienists at Sunshine Hills. Everyone is welcoming which is great especially for young children. I never feel hesitant to ask questions, knowing that I will always get an honest answer. I feel like my treatments are tailored to my needs and I am not just a number. The receptionists are very helpful when setting up appointments to fit my schedule. Would recommend to anyone.

Have been a client at sunshine hills for years. Both Dr Kimberly and Dr Bob Paterson are excellent - very thorough with their assessments and knowledgeable. I was so impressed the first time they checked my tongue for any signs of cancerous change - I had never had that done before! The hygienists are so thorough and friendly. Always an excellent experience, would highly recommend the clinic.

Sunshine Hills was recommended by a friend. I've now been going here for almost 3 years. Dr. Paterson and the hygienists are professional, very thorough and friendly!
The standard cleanings are good and the hygienists are gentle while flossing (some previous experiences at other clinics have been painful).
For larger procedures like fillings, I've been very satisfied with how quick and pain-free the filling was complete. Dr. Paterson is honest in his approach and is not overly-eager to perform a filling. He will recommend a filling only when necessary because who really wants to get one when

I have never been a fan of going to the dentist (who is!??!) but my experience with Dr. Patterson has been very pleasant and encouraging. He really takes the time to educate me and help me understand all my options so I can make my own decision on how I would like to move forward comfortably.
Everyone from the hygienists to the receptionists etc were all very caring as well. Overall, I am extremely happy to have Dr. Patterson as my dentist !

An excellent dental clinic. The hygienists and dentists are professional, friendly, and very effective. They took care to make sure my cleaning was pain-free and pleasant. I was also given headphones to wear during my appointment to tune out the sounds of the dental work. Would recommend.
