The FSW category is prescribed as a class of persons who are skilled workers, who may become permanent residents on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada, and who intend to reside in a province other than Quebec. Your work experience must be either Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or Skill Level B on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC).
A foreign national can be sponsored as a nanny (live in caregiver) via Canada's Live in Caregiver Program and must meet both the requirements outlined by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada AND Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). The Immigrant Investor Venture Capital (IIVC) Pilot Program replaced the federal Canada Immigrant Investor Program, providing a route to Canadian permanent residence for high-net worth individuals. Candidates with a legally acquired net worth of $10 million or more must invest $2 million in the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital (IIVC) Fund for a period of 15 years with no guarantee of a return.
