Services
At Arrowhead Veterinary Center, we believe that good preventive care is a key component in keeping our pets healthy and happy. We recommend that pets come in for regular wellness consultations - annual exams for younger pets and twice annually for seniors. At these consultation appointments, our veterinarians will perform a complete physical examination including examining the teeth, joints, skin, eyes and heart.
Dental health has become well recognized as an important component of your pet's overall health. Dental disease in pets has been linked to chronic pain as well as heart, liver and kidney disease. When your pet is in for a medical or wellness appointment, one of our veterinarians will examine their teeth and look for any abnormalities or signs of disease.
Similar to people, good nutrition for our pets can make a huge difference in how they feel, their activity level and their overall wellness. At Arrowhead Veterinary Centre, our veterinarians, animal health technologists and support staff are all well trained and knowledgeable about different aspects of animal nutrition.
At Arrowhead Veterinary Centre, we offer therapeutic laser as a potential treatment for various painful conditions. Therapeutic lasers are also called "cold" lasers. Laser light at a specific wavelength is delivered to tissues to increase circulation, simulate the immune system and increase collagen and muscle tissue development.
Arrowhead Veterinary Center has many in-house diagnostics available to allow for quick turnaround of results. We also work with off-site laboratories and specialists for cases that need advanced testing or specialist consultations. This helps us to diagnose medical conditions in the most accurate and efficient manner possible.

It’s difficult to find a Vet who is knowledgeable about rabbits. Dr. Sylvia is just fantastic! She was friendly, kept my pet bunny calm and also gave me excellent information. My own 25 yrs experience with pet bunnies was respected and Sylvia was very clear about information. I am completely confident now about bringing my pets to Arrowhead when future health issues arise. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Special Kudos to Elouise the vet assistant who was also wonderful in handing my pet bunny, and very knowledgeable herself! I have been to 3 vets before, all of whom were not comfortable

I have been coming to Arrowhead veterinary centre for years now from Calgary, and the quality of the staff always amazes me. They are so caring and sweet to the animals and always make my cat Kiki feel comfortable and at home when we visit the vet. Unfortunately, last year I had to cancel a vet appointment because my grandfather had passed. When I told them why I was cancelling my appointment, they expressed their condolences which I found very sweet and shows that they care about their customers. Today I have decided to come on here and write a review because I was delighted and very appreciative

Arrowhead Vets ROCK, we have been taking our fur baby's to this clinic since it opened. Dr Tracie, Dr Libby, Julie, Nicki and all the staff are just amazing. Our Golden Doodle Shadow has had the best care that can be given to any pet.
We drive all the way from far south in Calgary just to take Shadow to see Dr Tracie.

We've been bringing our animals here for over a year. The staff are fabulous and because of covid we haven't had a lot of face to face time. However, the doctors and staff spend a great deal of time speaking on the phone withnus so we fully understand what happened during the visit and any recommendations!

I've been taking my pets (cats & bunnies) to this clinic for years and have nothing but good things to say. I travel from Calgary to bring my fur babies here because I know they will be getting the best care and attention I could want for them. Throughout the pandemic they've consistently remained in contact with updates regarding their changes in operation and business hours, and during these uncertain times it's greatly appreciated. I have and will continue to highly recommend the lovely team at Arrowhead Vet in Cochrane!

I started bringing my senior pup, Bear, to Arrowhead after moving to Canada. Dr. Tracie has been amazing to work with as we navigate Bear's orthopedic issues. She always is willing to take the time to ask questions, discuss options, and you can tell she really cares. The front staff and techs are all so lovely! Bear doesn't mind coming to see them regularly, and I've had nothing but positive experiences there.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. We had previously been going to a vet in Calgary for many years, but wanted to get a second opinion after getting a quote for a dental. Not only did Arrowhead give me a much more reasonable quote, but the service we got was impeccable. They were kind, caring and compassionate during the entire process. They took amazing care of my doggy during his surgery and even sent me a photo update when he was done. When we went for a follow up appointment, he was actually excited (instead of anxious) to be at the vet. We would recommend them to anyone.

2017 - Libby takes great pride in her work with an honest opinion on what is best for my pup. She make him feel comfortable and can read his mood perfectly. Thank you, Libby for the lovely care.
A few weeks later: Wow!!! A big big thank you to the Arrowhead Veterinary Centre staff in Cochrane for taking such amazing care of my dog today. He had bad breath and seriously needed work done. He only lost one molar and has sparkly white teeth! He didn't even really wanted to come home with me and turned back to go back in, when he got outside..that to me is a good sign! Thank you sooo much! :) #hollywoodsmile
