Underwhelming to say the least
I paid $150 to have a coulourful arrangement for my sister who’s dog passed over the rainbow bridge. Asked for yellow roses, irises and they could pick the other colorful flowers… to fill in. The flowers they chose didn’t even coordinate. The flowers delivered could have been purchased at lablaws for about $50.
Staff was a little aloof but kind.

I picked up a lovely arrangement 4 weeks ago for a friend who was feeling a bit down in the dumps. I had asked that I would like it to include some Chinese Lantern “flowers” and that it should be bright and colourful. My friend loved it! She said that it was lovely and she couldn’t believe how long all of the flowers lasted. Thanks so much!

I ordered from New Brunswick a basket of africain violets with purple ribbon and purple butterflies for a grieving friend who loves purple, and they made a mess of it. It’s no where near what I ordered. I… understand that there might be substitutions but to use a different and lesser quality basket was ok but to put bright blue see through ribbon that was stuck around the flowers instead of on the handle, no bow, and to haphazardly stick in 2 PINK (she hates pink) butterflies made it even uglier and it looks cheap yet I paid a lot. I ordered two Xmas baskets. I was able to personalize them. As I was ordering from Toronto, I asked if they could send me a photo of the baskets, which they were glad to do. They told me when the baskets would be delivered to an assisted living facility. Because of Covid, I wasn’t sure if they had actually made it inside. They checked with the driver, and phoned me back in Toronto to assure me they had been delivered to a staff member. The baskets were beautiful, personalized, and the staff were great! I will definitely use Carriage House Florists again, and would highly recommend them!

I placed an order for a flower basket delivery to my best friend's birthday. They delivered a completely different flower arrangement than what they had posted on their website. I would have bought five or six flower bouquets had I bought the flowers from a grcery outlet myself for the same amount of money I spent on that. **UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED**… I had high hopes and was excited. But my excitement just shattered into a million pieces when my friend sent me a pic of what she received. Theres no way I could post a pic here. I cant see that option on the page.

Dealt with Terry, the owner today. I needed an order to a funeral for visitation, and gave very little notice. Terry was great and assured me he would have the order delivered for me. Carriage House has been absolutely so good to me. I bought my first bouquet there 4 years ago for my girlfriend at the time and well... now she's my wife. I have constantly gone to Carriage House for all my flower needs whether it's Valentines, Mother's Day or that special someone's birthday. The staff there are fantastic to work with and they genuinely want you to leave happy. They take the time to listen to what colour preferences, price, and style you are after and have consistently delivered amazing bouquets for me over the last 4 years. Honestly had an amazing first visit here the lady was so nice and helpful, we were deciding where to get flowers to be delivered for Mom's day. But when we came back to actually buy, a different lady that helped me seemed impatient and annoyed. Its our first time doing this for our mom and the lady couldn't wait for me to figure things out. She basically told me to just pay for it and deliver it myself because I'm taking too long to get information on how the flowers will be delivered. I have know the owner for years...Terry is a great person, always has fantastic displays and changes things up, never boring at the store. Arrangements are unique and last a long time. Entering the Carriage House is an exciting experience. Not only will you be amazed with the unique flower arrangements and plants, you will be in awe of all the "special" different kinds of gifts that are available to send to that special someone in place of, or with flowers. Maybe you want something very unique to hang on your wall or display on your coffee table.... this is the place to find it. But wait, not only is the store filled with gems..... the staff will treat you as royality ......
