Claresholm Vet Services was established in 1971 by Doc Al Martin, mainly for the reason of having some place to do his numerous cattle c-sections. The clinic was then renovated in 2000 to add a larger reception area, another exam room and some office space. The facility now expands over 2750 square feet.
Claresholm Vet Services is a full service mixed animal practice with approximately 60% small animal and 40% large animal clientele. The practice area is the greater Claresholm and surrounding communities, and is bounded loosely by Nobleford and Champion to the east, Ft. McLeod to the south, Cayley to the north, and Rockies and Hwy 22 to the west.

Everyone here has been so helpful in trying to find a way to help us with our cat. From the vets who laid everything out for us in a way we could understand, to the lovely woman at the front desk who found something my baby was willing to eat. And even though there was nothing we could do to make Kirby feel better the staff here were amazingly supportive, and I cannot express how deeply I appreciate everyone who was were with us through this awful day. They made today that little bit easier

I moved out to the Claresholm area in 2012. I have been a German Shepherd owner for more than 30 years.. ( of course, I owned more than one. 🙄).. anyway, in the course of being fortunate to own this wonderful breed of dog, I’ve met and worked with many Veterinarians.
Claresholm Vetrinary are always given me as well as my dogs, amazing service, which has gone far beyond just professional care. Their knowledge and flexibility to learning and teaching has been paramount in my history with these beautiful, knowledgeable and caring individuals allowing me to give my chosen breed the best of care

Myself and my dog Hank absolutely love this place. The honesty, care, love for our very busy guy there makes it so worth the drive from Calgary to Claresholm. When Hank was very sick in the summer Kelsey and Krystal were so amazing, supportive, and made us feel good about the decisions we had to make with him. Even after everything Hank has been through, he gets so excited to go Claresholm to see his friends! Thank you everyone💖

By far the best Vet clinic in southern Alberta.
They always take care of my dog and treat him like he is one of their own.
My baby boy was sick the other day and needed an immediate check up. I called them and told them how long I need to get there and sure enough they were waiting for us to get there.
Clinic was very clean and staff are more than professional, they know how to calm you down when you are too worried about your pet being sick.
They explained to me what was happening with my dog and how should I treat and look after my dog while he is sick, the vet made few phone calls to different

I just like to say big thank you for the great service that you gave us when I brought my little one in for her last visit. You took the time to welcome us and and had the time to look at my little one after hours. You made this process a lot easier for me as a pet owner and thank you for the wonderful heart warming symphony card.
Thank you again.
