Miramichi Golf & Country Club was established in 1925 at Bushville, NB on the south bank of the Miramichi River. Among New Brunswick golf courses it stands as one of the more challenging 18 hole layouts in the northeast. Though not overwhelming many golfers with its length, the tree-lined, narrow fairways provide a particular test along with small, traditional style poa annua greens.
The clubhouse remains unique among golf clubs in Canada. The old stone clubhouse is described as being unique among other courses in this country. Once a private home, this stone mansion was constructed in the year 1825 by Thomas H. Peters, a United Empire Loyalist who was then believed to be the wealthiest man on the Miramichi River.

Fun track to play with some quality members. Not overly challenging but some accurate and well positioned shots are required. Was able to get paired up with some really good lads that the made the round quite enjoyable. Only negative was it took just over 5 hours to play, albeit it was a holiday afternoon following a women's tournament.
