We are specially trained in building ICF foundations and the placement of concrete in the ICF. When BUILD KING sets your foundations we are able to control the quality from the ground up. Having your foundation 100% square and level, will result in a superior foundation to support your home that will last your family generations to come.
For superior structural performance, we implement a stacked or in-line framing alignment where trusses/rafters, studs, and floor joists all vertically align. This creates a condition where compression and tension loads are directly transferred through the framework of the house.
This method of framing allows for greater efficiency of the other trades including electricians and plumbers, given that when all framing members are aligned, there are less obstructions for their wiring and plumping pipes.Utilizing 2x ladder blocking at T-intersections requires less than 6-feet of blocking material versus the two studs at each side of the intersecting wall, or 16-feet of stud lumber, plus additional blocking.

Ryan and his crew built our second storey addition in the summer of 2018. His skills and knowledge are second to none. He worked with us from beginning to end giving us fantastic ideas above and beyond what our draftsman and designer had planned. He problem solved all of our issues from unsquared, unleveled and unplumbed original first storey, to navigating the ridiculous inspector demands. They take their time and do it right the first time instead of rushing to get it done as fast as some contractors do. I would never look for anyone else from roughing, to window and door installation, to finishing
