We recently used River City Events for our wedding rentals. The staff were amazing from the beginning and answered many of my questions. I was worried about the timing of delivery for set up - and they arrived a full 30 minutes before the scheduled time. I was very impressed and it relived a lot of my stress. Working with the team was a great experience.

We recently used river city Events for table rentals for our wedding this September. Monica from river city was fantastic, she answered my numerous questions to try to find me the best options and prices for our event. Trying to plan an event during covid is not easy and working with river city made the experience extremely smooth. I would recommend choosing river city events to anybody with an upcoming event wedding or needs any miscellaneous rentals they are fantastic!

We had to change our event date due to covid and river city was totally understanding and easy to work with. Made adjustments several times to our date as well as our rentals themselves. Customer service was always good.
The real mvp was the delivery driver and his team.
Super friendly! And went above and beyond expectations with how helpful they were!

We ordered chairs from them for our wedding -- first off, the lady on the phone was absolutely lovely. Ordering was very easy. The contract is absolutely reasonable and standard.
Then the delivery guys - they were professional, fast, and hard working. They sure worked up a sweat! We asked them how to best stack them for pickup and they gave clear, simple to follow instructions.
The dropoff and pickup was easy. They phoned before arriving.
Highly recommend!
And if you're looking to save some money, they have some sales in the wintertime on rental bookings, I got mine in February.

I rented a large specialty table for thanksgiving dinner and was impressed with how excellent it looked when it arrived. I was a little less pleased with the chairs I had selected online, but with one quick call to River City Events they offered to bring me new ones that they suggested would look better with the table I chose. They were 100% right, the table looked excellent with the chairs they suggested, and they re-delivered then to me within an hour with no extra charge for the wrong selection error on my part. Couldn't be happier with the service I received, and the items looked beautiful

We had a last minute party preparation and River City Events staff was able to accommodate us. Chelsea was very helpful in finalizing our reservation. They came to set up our tent at the day and timeframe that was promised. The guys who came to set up the tent did a great job! They were friendly, quick and respectful. Definitely worth everything. This will not be the last time we will rent from this company. We highly recommend them!

Thank you to your kind and helpful staff for helping us rent folding chairs very last minute -- on two occasions! Being a local charity we find your rates very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. Such an easy company to work with, and we will definitely recommend you to others. A big bonus is that all you need to do for pickup is zip around to the back, where a friendly worker helps you load them into your vehicle. Highly recommended!

We used River City Events for a business trip to Edmonton and the experience was so seamless and great! We had ordered rolling racks, as we are a fashion show room, and when we showed up to our hotel room the racks had been delivered and assembled in the room for us! We had River City Events decorate our wedding venue. We loved all the decor they had to offer with wide selection of table cloths, toppers, vases, flowers and anything you can dream of for decor. We rented white folding chairs from River City Events for our wedding. Their rates were slightly lower than competitors and are conveniently located in central Edmonton. For a nominal fee, they delivered the chairs to the location and picked them up afterwards easily. The entire process from beginning to end was pain free and so easy. Thanks guys!

As others have had nothing but good things to say about River City, I unfortunately had a negative experience with them. First off, the change over in staff led to a lot of miscommunication. I dealt with 3 different people since ordering my rentals, which were only uplights and head table draping. I did have to change my order, as I didn't expect for set up costs to be so high to plug in some lights and put some draping over the head table. We were already paying some people we know to set up our venue, so I thought I would add this to their list of things to do instead of spending a few hundred

Amazing store and staff! Great for any event or wedding. Extremely cheap event rentals for any party needs! Great downtown location. These people are amazing to work with and they partner with many community partners.
