Welcome to Sequoia Treescape, the leading tree service professionals in the York and Durham Region! We provide top quality tree maintenance and removal services for all your needs. It is important that the outside and inside of your home is welcoming and attractive. Moreover, foliage and trees often play a central role in the aesthetic appeal of your property.
Pruning is fundamental for safety, tree health & structural integrity, and allows some artistic license for beautification of the tree and property. Using wire cable, an Arborist can connect opposing limbs together to provide more uniformity in the movement of the tree canopy, and help support branch unions that may be prone to splitting.
Nothing adds a unique and beautiful feature like the use of wood in interior design. Each piece tells its own story with the grain, texture, and coloring of the wood. The use of live edge slabs has become very popular in the last few years, especially with their versatility. These large pieces of wood can be used in many different construction projects; from dining room tables or benches in your home, to mantels or even as stairs.
It can be difficult and quite costly to stay on top of heating your home during a cold Canadian winter. The typically freezing temperatures that blast us in Ontario can put even the best heating systems to the test. And with heating costs on the rise, staying warm can put quite the dent in anyone's bank account.
Although trees are incredible living organisms occasionally they can have weak branch unions, the spot where two branches split apart from each other. If tree branches have suffered storm damage, haven't been pruned adequately, their limbs are heavy from maturity, or they have a very tight union called "Included Bark" they can become susceptible to splitting or tearing.

We were thrilled with the work Sequoia did for us. We had a tree we were already debating removing in our backyard but after a storm it broke in half and was dangling above our neighbour's pool. We reached out to a few arborists, including Sequoia (based on another neighbour's recommendation). We were impressed and comforted by Sequoia's professionalism, we appreciated how quickly Matt was able to come look at the tree and that they emailed us a quote. The Sequoia team did an amazing job taking down the tree, no damage to my neighbour's pool and it's like the tree was never there! We also appreciated

Highly recommend Sequoia Treescape!!! I can be a little picky but they made me a happy customer and I’d definitely hire them again.
I needed to remove a couple of old spruce trees and prune a few other trees and cedars.
Craig quickly responded to my inquiry, walked around my property with me, gave me some good advise on my trees, and provided a fair price on the spot.
The crew showed up on time, quickly got to work and got everything completed on time. Crew was polite, knowledgeable and productive. They even trimmed the dead branches off my old walnut tree while waiting to run other trim work

I was really impressed with Sequoia TreeScape from start to finish. Everyone, from Craig, the owner to his crew led by Stephen was responsive to all of my concerns about the tree I needed removed. The crew worked like a team; they were efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. This was a difficult job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the professionals at Sequoia.

Matt and team did an excellent job on our giant dying maples...the job was a little more complicated than originally quoted, but they stuck to thier price, which was very honorable imo. Everything was done quickly, safely and efficiently, leaving the trees in firewood size chunks as requested. I would recommend this team to anyone needed tree work, 100%

Craig was very quick to respond to my inquiry. He was out to see our tree promptly before any other of my quotes. He gave a very reasonable price for the pruning work needed on our big maple. We were even able to be serviced sooner than original date given due to a cancellation which we really appreciated. Matt and his team were safe, efficient and communicated well with one another during the job. They took great care to avoid any damage to the house or property. Clean up was great. You will not be disappointed with Sequoia.
