At Norak Steel, our team will work with you from Greenfield site, right through to completed structure to ensure your needs are met. From sound ideas come sound structures. That is why at Norak, your project will go through the hands of our experienced and professional team of engineers. They will provide the structural design for your building, drawn to your desired specifications and even have the plans ready for your local permit office.
Norak Steel Construction Ltd. was established in 1964 by Mr. Frank Ober, and is succeeded by his son; Mr. Peter Ober - the current President and Owner. In December of 1964, Frank Ober founded Norak Steel Construction Ltd. He identified the opportunity to establish a new business in the Canadian construction industry - specifically in the fabrication of structural steel.

Often when we have visitors to our shop, they comment on the machinery that we use, as well as the cleanliness and organization of the whole floor. It's our way of sending the message that we take pride in our business. Norak Steel's machines are state of the art and work on CNC software.
Our CNC machinery has the latest version and is up to date - our Drill Angle, Saw, Brake Press, Plate Process and Plate Duplication are all connected to the database in our shop.Our draftsmen use the CNC software to design the exact pieces required, and how the machine should cut them. They send us detailed drawings (.dxf files) that we review and download to the machines, which, along with the machine's operator, process the parts.
