Dr. Dominique Holwitt, OD is a 2008 graduate from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. After graduating she spent a year working in Sydney, NS, followed by temporarily practicing in Ottawa, ON before deciding to return to her hometown of Kingston in 2010. Certified in Therapeutic Drug practice, Dominique enjoys all aspects of Optometry from pediatrics, to contact lenses, ocular disease, and geriatrics.
At Clearview Optometry we believe that technology is here to help and at our office we use an iPad with optical software to ensure we have the most accurate measurements possible for your new prescription glasses. We are also excited to offer an online FRAME BOUTIQUE which allows you to browse some of the frames that we currently have in stock.
Any glasses and/or contact lenses that you currently use (for contact lenses please bring either an unopened pair or a box with the parameters on it). If you are 19 years old and under or 65 years old and above, and you possess a valid OHIP card, then your eye exam is covered by OHIP.
If you are between 19-65 years old then you are not covered by OHIP unless you have very specific health or eye issues (the Optometrist will let you know if you fall into this category).
