He became a partner in 2001 while also receiving his Certified Aboriginal Financial Management designation that same year. In 2004, Cory received his Certified Financial Planner designation as Degruchy Norton & Co. merged with Walters Williams & Co. to become McIntosh Norton Williams, CGAs.
As an active CGA member, Cory has taught the CGA Taxation 1 course, was a member of the CGA Education Advisory Group, and has received the J.M. MacBeth award from CGA BC for service to the Southern Vancouver Island Chapter in 1999.Currently, he serves as President of the District 69 Society of Organized Services.
