I had harris movers move my elderly frail mother. The moving men took their time as they were charging her 250 an hour. When the men decided that they needed a break they took one. They smoked numerous things icluding drugs in the back of the truck were my mothers stuff was stored. Now it all has to be dry cleaned. They also broke numerous things. And the truck had no light in it. The moving men could not see a thing so they took even longer. My mom was quoted at 1700 dollars and the bill was 2900. My poor mom!

Unprofessional. One of the movers made several negative comments about my new place, the other asked me how much I paid for my house. A few things were damaged, no attention to detail. They left before fully removing everything, I had 2 car loads after to move myself. They were supposed to lay down runners on the floor, which they only did after I asked but it didnt even cover every room so they were walking all over my hardwood floors. One of them.made fun of me for asking to protect the floors.
They also charge much more than other movers and you definitely dont get better service paying $75

These movers did a great job keeping our furniture clean and undamaged and not damaging our home. Some of the pieces were large and difficult and they successfully brought them in with no issues. HOWEVER, one of the movers used our bathroom without asking and I got a nasty surprise when I went in there afterward as he went all over the toilet. As this is my second move in the last couple of years I was shocked with the bill as it was over double the cost of other movers in town, nearly 1000 dollars to move 6 large pieces of furniture from house to house 20 minutes apart. OUR THINGS WERE LOST AND DESTROYED. Find another mover, I learned from Allied's Head Office that we are far from the first to have had items damaged/lost by Harris Movers. Eight boxes of our things never arrived. Things were packed, by their crew, with no padding, leading to breakages in the boxes. Some furniture items were loaded into their truck wrapped in paper instead of blankets, leading to scuffs and cracks. An oak bookcase was smashed!!! An extension ladder was bent and broken, how on earth is that possible without malicious action? We claimed thousands of dollars in damages, and won
