Services
Online martial arts classes are up and running as normal via home training and remote learning-get the online class schedule for your reference. All classes will be via Zoom for maximum interaction with your instructor. Instructors and assistants will be able to correct students with their forms and techniques on a personal level through breakout rooms.

For our faculty, training and teaching are inseparable. Each feeds the other. Our instructors are full-time martial arts professionals who play a vital role in shaping our community as mentors and examples to their students. CMAC Dapo instructors and assistants form a faculty deeply passionate about the martial arts-its inspiring history, its present impact, and its future evolution.
From governments to charities, schools to offices, children to military forces, educational to tactical-and of course the hundreds of students and families served yearly-here is just a glimpse of the work that CMAC Dapo has been accomplishing over the last 17 years.

Sensei was able to bond with my autistic and intellectually disabled child, so I want to appreciate that.

The environment inside the class is very dynamic. Each person is individually evaluated and taught based on its strength and weaknesses. If you are into sparring or interested in competitions, just let Sensei or instructor know and they will guide you in that direction.
Personally I first enrolled my brother in youth class to get him more physically active and soon learned that the classes are definitely more than karate drills. Sensei Bassels has wealth of knowledge in not only martial arts but also music, arts and in general how human beings operate.

My three children have been attending CMAC dojo for over 4 years and they have learned in addition to their karate skills valuable morals. Their confidence has increased and they show respect and integrity in their behaviour. Thanks to Sensi for his hard work and dedication to the students. After every class my children come home telling me that today’s class was the best. I’m glad that they are learning karate and are enjoying their experience. The staff are very helpful and are accommodating and promptly address my requests.

I've been going here for the last 7 years and, its been a great experience. I've gotten some of my volunteer hours here. The staff have all seen me grow and mature. The students, volunteers, and staff are great people to be around. It's a great place to earn volunteer hours, learn karate, and make new friends. The staff are always super nice, no matter what day. My two sons began their training at the dojo this past January. From the moment we walked into the door we felt the 'family' vibe. Sensei Bassels teaches true values to my boys and we have the upmost respect for him. He has taken great interest and care for our family through my one son's illness. Although one son had to end his training for medical reasons, they are always sure to ask about him and include him in the dojo. A fantastic martial arts school that teaches values, life lessons, and independence. We don't watch our kids while they are in the classroom in elementary school—we can't distract them by being there. My experience with this school is that they have shown the utmost courtesy and respect to me and my family. They have really tried to consider us. They offer make up classes which you can't get anywhere else. Sensei is one of the most knowledgeable instructors around and to benefit from this knowledge requires an investment in time. This school has been my home since I was 6 (I’m 18 now), yet the more I train the more I realize the training never ends, which is a testament to Sensei’s level and depth of skill.
Without martial arts I don’t know where I’d be today. Everyone genuinely cares, and the classical approach ensures that the only competition is against myself. They brought me up with an understanding of courtesy and respect, which is the most important lesson I’ve been taught.

This Dojo is the epitome of what a classical martial arts school should be. The Sensei who runs the school is incredibly knowledgeable and wise. I've been training here for over 10 years now. I can say with absolute certainty that this place has saved my life. Between the classical martial arts virtues that are taught(Bushido) and the high quality self defence training. This is a place to sharpen your whole self, Mind, Body and Spirit. Wonderful place to train. Not only do they have a gifted Sensei who has trained (and still trains) for over 30 years, they also focus on growth of character, kindness, values and self discipline along with self-defence. There are many reviews here of students who have trained over 10 years or kids that have trained for 10 years and have grown up to write their own reviews! Proud to be part of the dojo family myself. I was here when it first opened. My kids will most certainly train here when they are old enough.
